The house itself was built in 2024 using natural materials such as oak beams, wood-chip insulation, felt, and clay plaster. This creates a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home immediately. Fun fact: bats live in the sealed, deep cellar beneath the residential tower, which is how the BAT House earned its name.
The sleeping quarters feature beds with high-quality hotel mattresses, ensuring you a restful night's sleep. The bathroom, complete with a rain shower, is located on the first floor along with the bedroom. The kitchen, featuring an island with bar stools, and the living room are located on the second floor. Both the living room and bedroom are equipped with air conditioning.
Your four-legged family member will also have a great time here, especially in the vast surrounding nature. You are welcome to bring one dog to this pet-friendly vacation home. Please keep in mind that there is a steel grate staircase leading to the first floor; some dogs may find this climb a bit intimidating.

Bicycles can be stored and charged indoors on the ground floor. Parking is available in the public parking lot, from which you can reach the Folly on foot within approximately 100 yards. Please note: It is not possible to reach the house by car.
