Buitenplaats Koningsweg is located right next to the entrance of De Hoge Veluwe National Park, home to the famous Kröller-Müller Museum. This cultural oasis in the countryside is the perfect destination for anyone looking to enjoy a luxurious stay in a one-of-a-kind ‘Folly’.
This architectural masterpiece and luxury forest cabin is characterized by its artistic and iconic style, including a unique rooftop terrace. The slanting lines and expressive architecture of this extraordinary residential tower play tricks on your mind (designed to fool you, hence the name Folly).
The house itself was built in 2024 using sustainable materials such as oak beams, wood-chip insulation, felt, and clay plaster. This creates a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
Fun fact: bats live in the sealed, deep cellar beneath the residential tower, which is exactly how the Folly earned its name: ‘BAT House’.

Beautiful and cleverly designed, sustainably built little house. Thoughtfully furnished: everything of good quality. Beautiful view of the trees and surrounding nature. On the spacious rooftop terrace you have complete privacy.
The surroundings are gorgeous: lots of nature, peaceful. In the area, there are a few other houses and buildings nestled among the greenery, all beautifully and uniquely designed. Many walking areas nearby, including places where the dog can run off-leash. Within walking distance, in the forest, is Il Lupo, a small pizzeria.

A beautiful little house, both inside and outside, in a very lovely location. We were welcomed very warmly and had a wonderful time in the house. It is situated in a gorgeous spot. The house itself is very complete -- everything is available and clean. From the house you can go straight out for beautiful walks. Really fantastic!!
